Whew! We’re back in Reno! We got home yesterday.
We
left Reno on November 11 on the first leg of our grand adventure.
In
the 3 plus months we have been traveling, we have logged nearly 9,000
miles. We have traveled through 17
states (slept in all but 2 of them – we didn’t sleep in either Tennessee or
Mississippi;) were in 4 different times zones; visited many National Parks,
Preserves, Monuments, Memorials, Battlefields and other historical sites; and
most importantly created more memories than we can count.
But
now it is time to rest… at least for a bit before we head back out on the next
leg of our epic adventure.
Coco
needs a good bath and a deep inside cleaning.
She needs an oil change and some minor service work. The freezer needs defrosting. The dogs need baths and to see the vet. Russell has doctor’s appointments and I have
work to do – crops, retreats, parties and more!
We have pictures to develop and friends to see while we are home, before
we head out again – this time to the Great White North later this spring!
Our
next journey will take us through the Northwest to Canada and Alaska, first as
we cruise up the coast for my Inaugural Cruise and Crop and then as we drive
from Seattle to Wasilla, Alaska to visit my family and then back to Salt Lake,
just in time for Close to My Heart’s Annual Convention at the end of June. (Want to join me?)
We
will be in Reno at least through the end of March… possibly longer before we
take off again. For those friends who
are in Reno/Sparks, we would love to see you while we are home! Message me and we will arrange a time to meet
for coffee, drinks, a party, or some other good time!
The adventures
don’t stop, just because we are home.
Until
next time,
Roberta

ReplyDeleteThanks, Nadine. We are glad to be home too. It's nice not to be "in motion" for a while.
