Easter Bunny Cards

I wanted to share a few special cards that I made using February’s Stamp of the Month Easter Bunny, that I think are super adorable!

The first card is a standard A2 card (invitation size) so no special magic used on this card, but what I love about it, is that while I still used the Easter themed stamp set, it is NOT for Easter, but can be used to tell someone you love them, or maybe even for a wedding, anniversary or engagement card.  For this sweet card, I used some scraps form the Hello Lovely paper pack (X7216B), the Gold Glitter Gems (Z3312) and the coordinating Complements (X7216C).  The Together Forever is actually a sticker from the Complements and works perfectly on the card.  I colored the bunnies using my ink pad lids and a water brush so that my colors would march perfectly with those in the paper packs color palette (Slate, Sorbet and Fern ink pads.)

The second card I made using Easter Bunny, is this super cute Shutter Fold Card, which when folded is also A2 sized, so it is easy to drop in the mail to someone special!  I love how it turned out, and again, I used leftover pieces of the Hello Lovely paper pack, Gold Glitter Gems and the coordinating Complements.  (I was trying to get rid of all my scraps and can’t bear to throw any of them away.)  I love this type of card, because of its dimensionality and it looks great sitting on a mantle or desk.  It has a lot of impact and really lets the person who is receiving it know that you cared enough to take the time to make such a special card.

If you would like to purchase this month’s Stamp of the Month Easter Bunny, there is still time, but it will hop on by if you aren’t careful, as this exclusive stamp set is only available until February 28, so get it while you can by visiting http://roberta.closetomyheart.com/ctmh/promotions/sotm/2017/1702-easter-bunny.aspx
Until next time, and more card creations,
Roberta
