We've been having a great time. We've watched movies from the 80's: Breakfast Club, Ghostbusters, St. Elmo's Fire, Top Gun, and so many others. We've listened to 80's music and eaten 80's food... things our moms would have made for us, such as: sack lunches, Tuna Noodle Casserole, and Beef Stroganoff. We've gotten crafty, learned new techniques, laughed, ate too much and most importantly had a great time.
I thought I would share a few of the items that we made as gifts for those who attended.
My partner in crime Angel for the retreat made the following items:
Scrunchie Box |
Stamp Set Gift |
Gift Box |
The stamp set was also given on Tuesday for a "One Sheet Wonder" make and take Angel designed. It was absolutely adorable and created 10 cards. (I'll post pictures of the finished project in the coming days, once I have completed mine.)
The Gift Box has a surprise inside for everyone that they will receive on Friday morning, so I can't
share what is inside, or I will ruin the surprise.
I also made a few gifts for everyone.
On Monday evening waiting for them at their table space, everyone had this adorable bag of popcorn, perfect for all the movies we watched.

The last gift everyone received that I made, they received just this morning. It was this easel sign, that says Hello. It went perfectly with our 80's theme with the song from Lionel Richie.

As you can tell, we like to shower those who attend our retreats with lots of gifts... all created in some fashion by us.
If you are interested in attending a scrapbooking retreat, we have the Mardi Gras Retreat taking place in January, and we would love for you to join us, but only a few spaces remain, so don't miss out! Register today!
Until next time and more crafty retreats,
Roberta
