BIG NEWS!!!

Well, after nearly a year of traveling the country -- 23 states (some of them multiple times), 3 Canadian Providences and driving almost 20,000 miles, Russell and I have decided to find a home base to park ourselves and Coco.

That place will be Powell, Wyoming.

For those not familiar with Powell, Powell is approximately 1 hour east of the East entrance to Yellowstone National Park and about 1 1/2 hours south of Billings, Montana.  It is beautiful country.  Mostly agricultural, but so close to so many sights!

The weather in Powell is much like Reno's in that their elevations are similar -- Powell is at 4391 feet above sea level, while Reno is 4503 feet.  Both areas have a breaker in the mountains to their west, so they both get snow, but not the extremes of so many other locations -- most years!  They both get the heat and the cold, but their average temperatures are very similar, so it neither stays extremely hot, nor uber-cold for extended periods of time.

We found a house that is absolutely adorable and are pending closing in the next few weeks.  All the primary living quarters are on the main floor, so Russell will not have to deal with stairs other than a few coming in and out of the house, and I will take over the finished basement, which will become my craft studio!  I will be back to teaching classes in person VERY SOON and am so excited!

The house had been completely updated throughout and best of all, the yard is fenced and the house is across the street from the park!  (Yes, this seems to be a pattern for us!😊)  So it will be perfect for Major!

Now, you might be asking yourself, "What about Coco?  What about traveling and the Traveling Crafter?"   Well, eventually, we will downsize Coco.  Since we won't be living in the RV full time, we don't need something so big.  We will find something smaller for shorter journeys, as we will continue to travel.  Russell and I aren't finished with our adventures, we just need a place to call home.

Something else you might be asking, "What about your retreats, crops, etc.?"  You don't need to worry about those!  They are still a go!  Nothing has changed there!  I have oodles of friends, family, customers and team members in the Northern Nevada area and I will be coming back regularly to visit and continue my local business.  I love you all!!!

Life brings many adventures and this is just another one in my story.  So stay tuned!  There is more to come!

Until next time, and more of life's adventures,
Roberta
