Tea-rrific Stamps! Tea-rrific Creations!

Anyone who knows me, knows that I am NOT a coffee drinker.  I gave up coffee more than 10 years ago for Lent and never went back.  But I do still love my tea.  (My favorites are a Vanilla Caramel Chai, or a Sweet and Spicy.)  I drink tea daily – hot (with caffeine) in the morning and iced (de-caf) in the afternoon/evening.

My love of tea is why I think the March Stamp of the Month is SO Tea-rrific and I wanted to share a few creations I have made using this adorable stamp set.

The first is this sweet 3” x 3” card that I created using paper from the Some Kinda Wonderful paper collection and markers to color the cup and tag.  This card could be used for any occasion and would be great attached to a gift bag.

The second card I created is the A2 sized card (4 ¼” x 5 ½).  On this card, I utilized some leftover scraps from this month’s featured paper pack Dreamin’ Big.  I used the same stamps on the outside of the card but colored them differently to match the colors in the paper, and on the inside I stamped the Happy Mother’s Day saying, which is included in the stamp set.

On both the cards, I love the embellishment of the tea bag tag, which I attached to the cards with some white twine.  On the 3” x 3” card, I did attach the tag to the card, but on the A2, I did not to give the card some fun movement when it is opened.

The last creation I made using this Tea-rrific stamp set was this over the top 3-D Tea Box.  (This was actually one of the make and takes we did at the Scrapping in Wonderland Retreat to go along with the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.)   The paper used was the gold foil floral that was part of the Happy Times paper pack from last year’s National Scrapbooking Month promotion.  I love how the paper looks with the Chocolate and Colonial White cardstock.  The box hold tea bags and would make a great gift for your tea loving mom, a co-worker or even for yourself to have in your kitchen.
