Sneak Peeks from Dallas

My main purpose for being in Texas this past week was to attend the Close to My Heart Launch event, for the next Seasonal Expressions Catalog/Idea Book that will be released and go live to customers on January 1.   (Stay tuned for more information… You are going to LOVE the 4 new paper packs, embellishments, stamp sets and other new items that will soon be available!)

I had never spent any time in Texas, although I have driven through a few times, when going cross-country, but never stopped to have a look around.  When Russell and I started this journey, we had planned to head towards Oklahoma to visit his grandmother and other extended family members, so it was a natural stop and a wonderful excuse for being there!

This was an exclusive event, open only to Consultants.  Additional events in other cities were held throughout the US and Canada simultaneously, so that those wanting to attend could do so easily and effectively, getting sneak peeks of what is to come.

While it was pouring down rain outside, inside I had a great time catching up with friends I usually only see at Convention in the summer and at our leadership training event in the winter.  Many were surprised to see me so far from home until they found out what I was doing!

Throughout the time, we learned about some exciting changes coming to Close to My Heart… again, stay tuned for more information!  We received new product from the upcoming catalog, and most importantly, we played and got ink-y!  We made sample artwork using the new products, including a layout, cards, a page and several gift tags.  I am not authorized to show you any completed artwork or new product views until they come out on January first, but I can give you a glimpse into what is to come!

What do you think?  Love it?

Would you like a copy of the new Seasonal Expressions Catalog/Idea Book for yourself and your own drooling pleasure?  Leave a comment with your name and mailing address, and I will drop one in the mail to you!

Until next time, and more crafting adventures,
Roberta

BIG UPDATE!

It comes with a heavy heart to announce I will no longer be maintaining my Blog.  It will not be deleted... at least for now; however, I wil...
