My Front Door

I was uber busy getting my craft on over the weekend.

As I mentioned in yesterday's post, fall has arrived in Powell and fall decorating has commenced in the Stafford household.  I've started laying pumpkins around the house and adding pops of reds and oranges throughout the house.  (I don't decorate for Halloween, but I do decorate for the seasons.)

So a few weeks back I posted a video when I received my Chalk Couture kit, I showed the Hello transfer (This has probably been my most-used transfer the past few weeks) and I mentioned that I had seen a post where someone had Chalked Up their front door using the Hello transfer.  Well, much to Russell's chagrin when he first saw what I had done, I did it too!  Check this out!

I also got crafty creating a new wreath for the front door in fall colors.  For the wreath, I used a styrofoam ring and cut 1 1/2" strips from the Falling for You paper pack from Close to My Heart.  I stapled them to attach them and decorated it with some of the coordinating embellishments. (Complements and Bronze Sequins).

I love how the entire front door turned out.  It looks so cute!  As a matter of fact, as I was outside taking pictures to show off my artwork, there was a gal who was looking for a house that was for rent who stopped to talk to me.  She said out house was far too cute to be for rent!  What a complement!

Well, using a little of this from Chalk Couture and a little of that from Close to My Heart, I was able to spruce up our front door.

I love how they turned out.
What can you do to decorate for the Fall?  I'd love to see what you come up with.
Please share!

Until next time and more door decor,
Roberta

It comes with a heavy heart to announce I will no longer be maintaining my Blog.  It will not be deleted... at least for now; however, I wil...
