New Cardstock, New Color Palette, New Color of the Year!

With the start of the NEW Annual Inspirations Idea Book/Catalog from Close to My Heart, there came some exciting changes that I am excited to share with you!

Close to My Heart has had double sided paper for as long as I have been a consultant, but a fabulous change has happened to our cardstock!  Now, each side of the card stock is now a variant of the original color!  The cardstock is now two-toned!  Instead of one color on both sides of the paper, you now get two shades of the same color... one the original color, the other a shade lighter!  That doubles the original 40 colors in the color palette to an amazing 80 fabulous colors to choose from, giving you more variety and more options than ever before when paper crafting.

In addition to the new two-toned paper, there are 11 new colors to choose from for cardstock, ink, re-inker and pigment ink, as the entire Basics Color palette has been COMPLETELY updated with beautiful new neutral colors.  New colors are:  Linen, Pebble, Mink, Heather, Pewter, Almond, Toffee, Espresso, Charcoal and Nutmeg.  I already find them gorgeous to work with and Pewter has become my favorite go-to shade of grey when stamping!

Now, you might have noticed, there are only 10 colors shown above, but I mentioned there being 11 NEW colors... I didn't mis-state.  Close to My Heart has a NEW Color of the Year -- Bashful!

This pale pink is a wonderful addition to any paper or ink hoard you might have and pairs well with so many colors, especially the new Basics Collection.  Like all other CTMH colors, there is Bashful cardstock, ink, re-inker, pigment ink and even glitter paper!
