Guilty Pleasures

You have to promise not to say a word!
Promise?
Okay.
I'll let you in on a little secret...

Many times when Russell and I are traveling, we are in a location that does not have good television reception.  We don't have a dish or satellite for Coco, so there are times when we are in a remote location and the only option for TV are the local PBS stations or videos.

Over the course of the last year, we have discovered many of the PBS/Masterpiece Theater series and have enjoyed watching them.  Some of my favorites have become Call the Midwife, Victoria, and Poldark.  I can't wait for the new seasons of these to start!

However, my favorite guilty pleasure of all has become Downton Abbey!  I don't know how we didn't catch this  series when it was on TV, but I am glad to have found it now.  I love watching Ladies Mary and Edith, Anna and Bates, Mr Carson and Mrs Hughes, and getting wrapped up in their lives while I am scrapbooking and crafting.  I love the witty humor of the Dowager Countess of Grantham.  And, I can't wait to see what comes next of the conniving Miss O'Brien and Mr Barrow.  The series leaves me wanting more after every episode!

Don't tell me what happens!  I want to find out for myself!

While no longer airing on PBS, we have purchased the videos.  We own seasons 1-5 (still need to get the final season -- Season 6.)

Russell and I just finished Season 3 last night... so sad for Mary!  How tragic!
We will see what happens next!

What are your guilty pleasures that you enjoy while you are scrapbooking, making cards or doing other types of crafting? Do you have a favorite series you enjoy watching?  Do you have a favorite snack or special drink you love to have?  I'd love to hear about them, so leave me a comment!

Until next time, and other guilty pleasures!

BIG UPDATE!

It comes with a heavy heart to announce I will no longer be maintaining my Blog.  It will not be deleted... at least for now; however, I wil...
