Mardi Gras Team Meeting

This past Saturday, I had a fabulous time with my team of Sassy Scrappers.  My team currently consists of ladies throughout Northern Nevada, Washington, Idaho and California, and we are GROWING!  There were MANY were able to make the journey to attend this all day event, in spite the weather.

We held our first team meeting since I began traveling and it was great to see everyone who was able to make it, face to face.  We even had some new faces at the tables, which was exciting to see.

To celebrate me being back in town, we had an all day crop and team meeting combined at one of our team member's Community Rooms.  It was Mardi Gras themed, since Fat Tuesday had only been the previous week.  Everyone brought a potluck dish to share for lunch, which included 2 different types of gumbo, jambalaya, voodoo punch and of course, King Cake, which was delicious.  (Russell actually found the baby, when he and Major stopped by to bring dinner!)

We crafted the day away on our own projects, but also had 2 make and takes to go along with the theme...Mardi Gras masks and themed Rocker Cards.  We played games, won prizes, learned a thing or two and had a great time getting together.  For dinner, we had pizza and chicken wings.  It was fantastic!  (I got all the projects I had packed with me finished!  Whew!)

If you would like to have a wonderful time meeting other crafters who are passionate about paper, contact me.  Let's talk about you joining my team and the Close to My Heart family of consultants!

We are a zany bunch, who have a little Sass, but a lot of fun!
Until next time,
Roberta
