When
we first embarked on this amazing adventure, I thought I would be using my
crock pot to cook tasty dishes a lot more than I actually do. Most days it is stored in the cupboard
underneath the cook top.
In
my head, my plan for traveling was to toss a fabulous dinner into the crock pot
on days we were traveling from one location to another, and like magic, it
would be hot, nutritious and ready to devour when we arrived at our
location. Well, that’s not exactly how
it goes.
Unfortunately,
because our home is on 6 wheels on roads that are not always smooth, (I-40
through Arizona is the ABSOLUTE worst!) it sways to and fro, and when you take
tight corners, things tend to move and shift drastically. Whenever we move location EVERYTHING must be
put in its storage space. It’s like
being aboard a sailing ship and battening down the hatches during a storm.
If I
ever decide to take the chance of having the crock pot on the counter, I would
risk the dinner flying everywhere and having nothing but a mess to show for it.
With
that said, I still love using my crock pot, but I get tired of cooking the same
dishes over and over again while we are traveling.
I
need YOUR help!
Share
your favorite crock pot dishes with me between now and Friday, and you will be
entered to win an EXCLUSIVE Operation Smile stamp set from me!
You
can email me either the recipe or link to the recipe for me to try out. I’m looking for everything from chicken to
beef recipes, from pork to fish recipes, from soup to dessert recipes.
Again,
email me! I would love to have some new
recipes to try.
Thanks
so much!
Until
next time and more tasty recipes to share,
