Beary Christmas?

It's NEVER too early to get in the holiday spirit, especially of you are a crafter.
That is why I thought I would share this month's featured paper pack from Close to My Heart with you.

October's Featured Paper Pack is
Beary Adorable!

October's featured paper pack comes from the Holiday Expressions Catalog/Idea Book. It is called Beary Christmas, and as you will see, it is beary adorable!

Each month throughout the year, I like to highlight a paper pack from the Close to My Heart catalogs to show the various components of a selected Paper Collection, as well as a variety of projects I have created – cards, scrapbook pages and other creations.  My hope is this will inspire you to get YOUR craft on!

Beary Christmas is fantastic mix of traditional Christmas colors (Charcoal, Cranberry, Fern, Glacier, New England Ivy, Pebble, Pewter, Tangerine and White Daisy) and is a fantastic themed paper collection... perfect for those Christmas photos or Christmas cards that we will all soon be mailing to family and friends.

The Beary Christmas paper collection not only features fantastic traditional Christmas colors, but also pretty patterns of poinsettias, trees, stripes, snowflakes, plaids, scripted words, and more!  The paper pack includes 12 sheets of 2-sided themed patterned paper.

Additionally, there is a coordinating cardstock packet with 12 sheets in Cranberry, Glacier, New England Ivy and Pebble  (3 sheets each of 2-sided white core) cardstock.  This cardstock combo  complements the patterned paper pack and allows for added creativity whether you are a scrapbooker, cardmaker or other paper crafter!

Of course, you can’t have a featured paper pack without coordinating embellishments to go along with them.

The Beary Christmas Complements are perfect for creating titles for your pages, adding dimension or an added pop of whimsy with the coordinating stickers, red glitter die-cuts and chipboard die-cuts. There are also the Beary Christmas Dots, which add subtle texture as an embellishment on your art work.
Lastly, there is the Silver Shimmer Trim. This roll of 5 yards of adhesive backed glitter is the perfect complement to the paper pack with fun texture and shine, perfect for any card, page or layout.

For those who would love to add some stamping to this beary cute paper pack, there are 2 coordinating stamp sets that coordinate beary well with the paper pack:  one for cardmaking and one for scrapbooking.   I am particularly fond of the the little animals and can imagine using them in so many ways!

Both the cardmaking AND scrapbooking stamp sets can also be purchased in a Thin Cut Bundle to make creating faster, simpler and easier when you cut the images out using your preferred embossing/die-cutting machine

Either with or without the Thin Cuts, these stamp sets are perfect additions to your stamp collections. Mix and match the scrapbooking and cardmaking sets.  Use them with the Beary Christmas Paper Pack, or with something else to create unique works of art.

To top things off, there is the Beary Christmas Workshop Your Way Kit.  This kit contains everything you need, with downloadable instructions for these 3 2-page layouts.

The Workshop your Way kit includes the following items:
  • 1 – Beary Christmas paper packet
  • 1 – Beary Christmas Complements
  • 6 – cardstock sheets
  • 1 – Beary Christmas Dots
  • 1 – Silver Shimmer Trim
With only a few additional supplies, you will also be able to create 6 more cards (2 each of those shown) and additional pocket page inserts for scrapbooking with your kit, making this an incredible value!

To see additional items I have created using Beary Christmas, be sure to visit my blog regularly throughout the remainder of October.  I will share pages, cards and other crafty items that I hope will inspire you to get into the holiday spirit!

Until next time and some beary adorable creations, make it a great weekend!
