Gearing up for Craft Fairs and Classes

The past couple of weeks I have been working my touche off to get ready for a few upcoming Craft Fairs I have registered for.  My first one is on October 21st in a town called Worland about 90 miles from home, and I am really looking forward to it., although it may prove to be a little overwhelming.  Thank goodness my ever faithful daughter, Sarah, who is coming to the rescue and will be helping me man the booths for the day.  Yes, you read that right -- booths-- one for Close to My Heart and one for Chalk Couture.  Love that girl and that she is willing to help me out!

Today, for Creative Thursday, I thought I would share a few creations I have been working on in preparation for the upcoming Craft Fairs.

First my Close to My Heart booth...
My focus for this booth is to get folks to sign up for upcoming paper crafting classes and to host parties.  Here are some layouts from my next Make It from the Heart Scrapbooking Workshop, which I will host on November 9th.

I love how these papers work so well together.  The base pages are cardstock from Close to My Heart's Enchantment color family in Goldrush, New England Ivy and Eggplant.  The Background and Texture papers are from the Basics Fundamentals paper collection.  There are pops of gold foil paper or gold shimmer trim on each page, as well.  While the pages are understated, they speak to fall, family time and daily life and once photos have been inserted, I think will be beautiful!

For my Chalk Couture booth, I will focus primarily on getting folks to "play" with the chalk products at a make and take table, as well as sell some of the artwork I have created.  Here are some wooden signs I made just yesterday that I think turned out incredibly well!

These wooden signs were originally purchased at Michaels.  The"Gather" one I had Russell paint black to change it up, but I love them all, especially how distressed they look, with no effort at all.

Well, I have more crafting to do to get ready,
So, until next time, keep on crafting!

BIG UPDATE!

It comes with a heavy heart to announce I will no longer be maintaining my Blog.  It will not be deleted... at least for now; however, I wil...
