Beary Cute Creations

On Friday I showed you October's featured paper pack, Beary Christmas, which is beary cute!

Today, I thought I would show you just a few cards and pages I have created using this adorable paper pack!

First cards:

These cards were inspired from and using the products from the Merriest Wishes Cardmaking Kit.  Of course, I can't follow the directions to a T.  I have to add my own spin, such as changing the stamped background design and the color of the snowflake.  I do love the pops of shimmer from the silver glitter paper and the mini sparkles though.

Which of the 2 cards is your favorite?  While I tend not to be attracted to traditional Christmas colors, mine is the one with the poinsettias.  It says simple and elegant, all at the same time.

Next are the layouts I created also using Beary Christmas:

For these, I used the Workshops Your Way Beary Christmas Scrapbooking Kit.  Again, I followed the general directions, but then used the kit for inspiration and put my own twist on the pages to make them my own creations.

For example, in the first layout, I added some silver shimmer trim across the top of the patterned paper for some added sparkle.  In the second layout, I chose not to add the banner and clustered my pennants behind the bears, who I think are adorable!  In the third layout, I chose not to title the pages and will save it for later... I already have a plan for these pages, as Russell and I plan to cut down our own Christmas tree this year and I think those photos would be great on that layout.

My favorite of these layouts again is the one with the poinsettias.  I love that patterned paper and I love the bears and the deer.

While it might seem early to be getting in the Christmas spirit, I hope these creations have inspired you to get your craft on.
