Russell and I are off tomorrow on a mini adventure.  We are traveling to Denver and we fly out of Cody bright and early... Okay, probably not so bright, since our flight leaves @ 6:30 AM and it is still dark then... so definitely early.

Why are we traveling once again?

At the end of August/beginning of September, Russell and I spent a week in Colorado for a fundraiser event for Paws for Purple Hearts, the organization Russell received Major through.  Russell and Major have been Ambassadors for PPH for nearly 2 years now, sharing the need for certified service dogs for Veterans, everywhere we go.  While we were in Colorado, they took part in filming a documentary about Service Dogs and the Veterans they serve.

The premier of the film is Tuesday night in Littleton.  We are excited to participate and see the finished product.  I already have tissues packed in my purse, as if you know me, I am sure I will need them. 😉

We are always ready to give back to PPH in anyway we can, as this organization has done so much for Russell, and even me, because of the gift of Major.

I'll keep you updated on the release of the documentary, as well as where and when you might see it.
