I've put Russell to work!

Anyone who knows Russell, knows that he is crafty in his own right.  He loves wood working - especially scroll saw work.  He has some real skill and talent with cutting intricate pieces and creating true works of art.

Over the past few weeks, we have been working diligently to get the garage (his shop) set up so that he too can start creating; however, even in the midst of the chaos of trying to get it organized, I have already put him to work.

A few weeks ago, I stopped into one of the thrift stores here in Powell.  I told the owner Julie what I was doing with Chalk Couture and she pointed me directly to this wooden sled.  I immediately knew what I could do with it.  (Stay tuned for that creation.)

I knew though that I want to make more than just one, because I could sell them... so guess who made more?  Yep you guessed it!  Russell did!

Where there was 1, now there are three and he made a pattern for more!  So excited to get started on these... just need to buy some paint!

Until next time, where craftiness runs in the family,
Roberta

BIG UPDATE!

It comes with a heavy heart to announce I will no longer be maintaining my Blog.  It will not be deleted... at least for now; however, I wil...
