Creative Thursday: Anniversary Gift

My parents celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on February 1st.  They were such babies in these pictures.

In today's day and age, what an accomplishment it is to be married so long!  My parents are a real inspiration.  I doubt, I will achieve that, as Russell and I married one another so late in our lives, but I believe in celebrating those major mile stones.  They are worth celebrating!

Thus, together, Russell and I made this sign for my parents anniversary.

I love how it turned out.  It is quite large -- 4 feet by about 1 1/2 feet.  Russell made and painted the board with Chalkboard paint.

On it I used 4 colors of Chalkology Paste:

  • Custard
  • Thai Teal
  • Mustard (currently out of stock) and
  • Elephant (also, currently out of stock)
I used 3 Chalk Couture Transfers:
  • Lettersmith Font
  • Welcome/Established, and
  • Fancy Corners
all of which are no longer available.  😥

It just goes to show, how you can personalize something for someone with very few Chalk Couture products to celebrate moments worth celebrating.

Until next time, and more Chalk Inspiration,
Roberta

BIG UPDATE!

It comes with a heavy heart to announce I will no longer be maintaining my Blog.  It will not be deleted... at least for now; however, I wil...
