Most folks who know Russell and I, know that I am not the only crafty person in the household. Russell creates beautiful woodworking pieces whenever he can. He loves creating intricate pieces with his scroll saw, and we recently purchased a new table saw for his shop in the garage.
Over the past few weeks, I have shown a number of items which Russell has created for me to help me launch my new Chalk Couture business, but he has also been busy creating other items as well.
Just last week, he finished this dog bowl stand for Major. It lifts the bowls off the ground to a more reasonable height for such a tall dog, so he doesn't have to lay on the floor to eat and so his bowls don't slide all over the place anymore when he is licking them clean.
Russell used my Cricut machine to make a pattern to cut the dog bone images into the sides of the stand, as well as wood burned Major's name, PPH (Paws for Purple Hearts), "food" and "water" into the top. (Unfortunately, you can't see the word "water", because the bowl covers it up.)
You see, I'm not the only who gets their craft on in this house!
Until next time and more crafty creations from one of us...
