The plan was two-fold: to spend some much needed quality time together and to attend the Rescued and Reclaimed Craft Fair. We accomplished both!
The Rescued and Reclaimed Vintage Craft Fair Market was AMAZING! Because I vendor at so many craft fairs this time of year, I rarely get the chance to attend these events, to look around and to shop for myself, so I wanted to check it out because I had heard so many great things about it.
Rescued and Reclaimed is Montana's largest indoor Vintage Market. It is held at the MetraPark Expo Center in Billings, which has over 60,000 square feet and featured over 100 vendors from a six state area including Montana, Wyoming, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Idaho.
They only allow the finest Repurposed, Rusty, Chippy, Primitive, Vintage and Fine Antiques along with some very cool handmade jewelry and clothing. Russell and I found everything to be fair priced, although there were a few antique furniture pieces that we both really liked that were in excess of $3K. (Choke!) There were vendors with both some real skill in creating and refurbishing items and with great eyes to see the potential in relic pieces. We both came home with some great ideas for future creations we could collaborate on, as well as one item we purchased for our new home for the holidays.
At the base of the fence posts, there are lights throughout the greenery and the lantern turns on. I think it is adorable and goes along with our rustic Christmas theme.
Now, the question is: Do I Chalk it Up with some snowflakes?
What do you think?
Well, until next time, check out your local craft fairs. You never know what you are going to find.
